The short version: tell us about your stay, we say yes personally, you pay in two parts, and you treat the villa like a home.

1. Requests and confirmation

Booking direct starts with a request. Sending one costs nothing and doesn’t commit you. We hold your dates for 24 hours while we reply. Your booking is confirmed only when we accept the request and the deposit has been taken — we’ll email you a confirmation with your booking reference.

2. Paying

  • Deposit: 30% of the total, charged when we accept your request.
  • Balance: charged to the same card 6 weeks before arrival. If you book later than that, the full amount is taken when we accept.
  • Prices are in euros and include the cleaning fee shown in your quote. The Greek climate resilience fee is shown separately.

3. Security hold

A €500 hold is placed on your saved card 2 days before arrival. It’s never charged unless there’s damage, and it’s released within 7 days of departure. If something is broken, tell us — accidents happen, and honesty is always the cheaper route.

4. Your stay

  • Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 10:00.
  • The villa sleeps up to 8 guests, including children. Only the guests named in your booking may stay overnight.
  • No parties or events. Please respect the neighbours and keep noise down after dark.
  • Villa Blotto is a home, not a hotel: linen and towels are changed weekly, and there’s no daily housekeeping.
  • The pool has no lifeguard; children must be supervised at all times.

5. Changes and cancellation

Free date changes, subject to availability. If you need to cancel, the cancellation policy applies. We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation.

If we ever have to cancel your booking — which we’ll do everything to avoid — you’ll get a full refund of everything you’ve paid.

6. Responsibility

We look after the villa carefully, but we can’t be responsible for things outside our control, such as ferry cancellations, weather, or interruptions to water, power or internet supplied by others. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law.

7. The legal bits

Villa Blotto is registered in the Greek short-term rental registry, AMA licence no. 00001797527. These terms are governed by Greek law. Questions? Email hello@villablotto.com.
